I am looking into placing a group order for jackets with the ARES Logo on the front, as well as a call sign.

I need to know how many would be interested in purchasing a jacket before I start looking into a group discount. I am going to try and keep the costs below $50. I am hoping to find a jacket that is light enough to wear between seasons, yet heavy enough to wear through the warmer parts of winter.

If we have enough that are interested, I will find a location that can get the jackets to us for a good group discount.

Yes, by all means! We should have some sort of uniform, as such -- we would look more professional when we went out to do events. This raises a few questions:

What would the color scheme be?

How much would it cost?

Would there be matching hats as well?

Great Questions Tim.

I was thinking something with a reflective band around it would be great if we were out after dark, or in poor weather.

I also like the idea on matching hats. I would like to see "everyday" hats that show ARES Support.

There are no costs yet, but my goal is to keep the jacket under $50 a piece including any shipping and stitching.

as a new guy on here i would say great....im in for 1 poss 2...what would be the cost if you had a larger logo on the back with the members call sign below the logo...at least you will know who it is from behind and get recongnized too.......just a thought

My suggestions are: Waterproof or at least water resistant; reflective patches, hood, attractive, light weught. I have some that I have had made for some charity outings and would be glad to share info,
